Previously, I was at Publicis Grouple where I led visual design and UX for Toyota Europe (46 markets), the FA and Nuffield Health. Specialist in motion-first design where brand story drives user journey. Particularly interested in projects where design, technology, and storytelling intersect.

Product Designer, The Independent (Contractor)

August’25 - present

Co-build Bulletin, The Independent’s new app, within a newsroom reaching 80 million monthly readers.

Design core app sections (News, Games, Listen) and co-own the design system to drive consistency and delivery speed.

Partner with engineers through design reviews and QA to maintain fidelity, translate user research/testing into user-centred decisions, and present demos to stakeholders.

Develop branding for The Independent’s partner podcasts (e.g., In the Room), covering logos, iconography, and scalable static/motion templates for the content team.

Senior Digital Designer, Publicis Groupe

August’23 - July’25

Part of Prodigious London team dedicated to Toyota, transforming how 46 European markets present cars online.

Led redesign of Toyota's model pages, creating flexible CMS templates that tell each vehicle's story whilst maintaining brand consistency. Worked directly with the client to establish information architecture and visual direction, coordinated with copywriters on web copy and developers to deliver an AEM-ready kit for local rollout.

Introduced Figma-based system for model page reviews, replacing 50-page PDF decks with streamlined documents showing strategy, content flow, and final designs in one place. Simplified client feedback and halved meeting times.

Art directed visual content for car launches including Hilux GR Sport II - developing concepts and creative presentations, writing visual treatments, creating storyboards using MidJourney for rapid exploration. Oversaw production from concept to delivery. Managed CGI artists and retouchers for asset creation when live shoots weren't possible. 

Created animations for model pages that explained vehicle technology, from visualising aerodynamic efficiency to demonstrating keyless entry systems.

Senior Digital Designer, Nuffield Health

May'21 - August'23

Lead designer for digital campaigns - from health service promotions to major partnerships including the FA collaboration for UEFA Women's EURO 2022 and FIFA Men's World Cup. Created concepts, executed designs and built campaigns that worked across social, digital, and physical channels.

Refreshed digital advertising creative for Nuffield Health gyms. Designed flexible templates that 110 locations could customise with local offers. A/B testing showed 35% better click-through rates.  

Mentored junior designers by working together on major campaigns while teaching them to run smaller projects solo. 

Oversaw external agencies on outsourced projects from pitch through delivery.

Visual Designer, Surrey Police

September'17 - May'21

Created campaigns for public safety initiatives including domestic violence prevention, cyber safety, and recruitment. Designed everything from print materials and OOH advertising to social media templates.

Produced motion content that made complex information accessible. Animated crime statistics, safety tutorials, and recruitment videos.

Built a comprehensive template library that empowered non-designers to create on-brand materials independently, ensuring consistent visual communications across the force.
