Surrey Police
During my time at Surrey Police, I designed visual assets for a wide range of public-facing and internal campaigns. The work below illustrates how I translated complex, sensitive topics into clear, on-brand visuals that inform, engage, and reinforce the force’s messaging.
Detective recruitment guidebook
A one-stop resource for aspiring detectives at Surrey Police, offering all the essential information and guidance needed to embark on a detective career.
Cuckooing flyer
An information flyer that targets neighbours of vulnerable individuals who are at risk of being cuckooed*. The main aim was to provide people with information about the signs of cuckooing and explain how they can report suspicious activity.
*Cuckooing is a form of crime, termed by the police, in which drug dealers take over the home of a vulnerable person in order to use it as a base for county lines drug trafficking. The crime is named for the cuckoo's practice of taking over other birds' nests for its young.
SHIPP card
I was asked to create a discreet support tool for the Surrey High Intensity Programme (SHIPP), a Police - NHS partnership that supports people who frequently face mental health crises. Focus group research showed users needed something that wouldn’t draw attention to their condition, so we produced a pocket-sized folded card that looks like a coffee loyalty card. Unfolded, it reveals crisis helpline numbers and other support contacts. Compact, anonymous and always to hand, it offers instant, private access to life-saving help.
